My heating and air unit completely quit on me the other day. I called HEP as they were the only ones who could come out on a moments notice. Unfortunately I had to get a whole new heating and air system (the writing was on the wall for some time, I was just waiting for the inevitable). I was financed the same day (at 8pm!!) and set up the installation. I was told it would take 6 to 8 hours estimate for the work to be done. The gentlemen that came to install the unit (Javi and Eric(?)) came on time and were very friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. They had the old system removed and the new one installed in just a little over 3 hours. I was all around very impressed with the work that was done...from the person that took my phone call the other day, to the technician that came out to diagnose the problem and helped me get financed and the gentlemen that installed the new system. Everyone was personable and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend HEP to anyone that is in need of home service that you can't do yourself.

Heating System Components Commonly Repaired

Heat Exchangers

Cracked or corroded exchangers can leak combustion gases and reduce efficiency. HEP assesses exchanger integrity through visual inspection, pressure testing, and combustion analysis, replacing compromised units promptly.

Blower Assemblies

Dust accumulation and motor wear compromise airflow. Technicians clean assemblies, balance blower wheels, lubricate bearings, and replace failing motors to ensure consistent temperature distribution.

Ignition Systems

Modern furnaces rely on electronic igniters or hot surface igniters, both susceptible to degradation. HEP tests ignition sequences, sensor feedback, and flame stability, supplying OEM-grade replacements when necessary.

Control Boards

Intermittent operation often stems from failing relays or circuit board corrosion. HEP diagnoses logic faults, updates firmware where applicable, and installs new control modules to restore customized system management.

Refrigerant Circuits in Heat Pumps

Low refrigerant charge triggers frosting and inadequate heating. Certified technicians locate leaks, repair copper piping, evacuate contaminants, and recharge with precise refrigerant weights in accordance with EPA guidelines.
