Adam came today to install some new lighting in our kitchen. The previous owners decided to DIY a hideous LED light fixture that had been torturing us with strobe lighting for over a year. We got some new track lights at Lowe’s and called HEP they called us the next day and the day after Adam came out and installed the new fixtures in about two hours. He did a great job and even fixed the orientation of the light switches which are also DIY and backwards. Definitely will use HEP for all our electric needs in the future!

I know that every business has employees but, I want to extend well deserved "Thank You" to Richard W. My home had no heat and, half of my home power was out due to my unit burning a hole in the connections. Richard showed up within an hour once he read my home had no heat. I could have shopped around for quotes but, Richard W answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable, especially when explaining in detail the pricing breakdown. "Thank You" Richard W again, you are the reason I completed this transaction and, I appreciate all the added care you provided to me today in my time of need.

HEP deploys adjustable track lighting with high CRI LEDs to accentuate textiles, artwork, and product displays. Tunable white options allow businesses to shift color temperature throughout the day, aligning lighting with natural circadian rhythms or promotional themes. In hospitality settings—restaurants, boutique hotels, cafés—ambient warmth and dimmable flexibility establish a welcoming atmosphere. Specialty pendants, concealed strip lighting, and dynamic color-changing LEDs help craft memorable guest experiences.

Industrial and Outdoor Applications

Warehouses and light manufacturing facilities demand robust, glare-free illumination that supports accuracy and minimizes fatigue. HEP installs high-bay LEDs with precision optics to deliver uniform brightness from elevated ceilings. Motion sensors and daylight harvesting controls further streamline energy consumption during low-activity periods. Outdoor areas, including parking lots and building perimeters, benefit from durable, weather-resistant fixtures equipped with adaptive lighting controls that boost security while curtailing light pollution.

The HEP Lighting Upgrade Process

Delivering successful electrical lighting upgrades requires a structured, transparent workflow. HEP follows a multi-stage process that emphasizes collaboration, technical rigor, and accountability.

  • Discovery and vision alignment
  • Comprehensive on-site lighting audit
  • Design development and photometric analysis
  • Product selection and procurement
  • Installation by certified electricians
  • System commissioning and user training
  • Post-installation monitoring and support

Initial Assessment and Lighting Audit

The journey begins with an in-depth assessment of existing fixtures, controls, wiring infrastructure, and energy consumption patterns. HEP technicians measure light levels in foot-candles, evaluate color temperature distribution, and monitor power draw at the breaker panel. Thermal imaging may be employed to locate hotspots, revealing overloaded circuits or failing components. By capturing granular data on wattage, voltage drop, and fixture spacing, the team builds a clear baseline against which future savings and performance improvements can be quantified.

Seamless Installation and Project Management

Once the design is finalized, HEP schedules installation to minimize disruption. In occupied commercial spaces, work is often performed during off-peak hours; in residential settings, crews coordinate access to ensure household routines proceed smoothly. Safety barricades, signage, and lockout-tagout procedures safeguard property and occupants. Certified electricians decommission and dispose of legacy lamps in accordance with environmental regulations, install new fixtures, update wiring, and test control integration. Project managers provide progress reports, maintain timelines, and verify that each phase meets quality benchmarks.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Advantages

LED technology lies at the heart of modern lighting upgrades. These solid-state devices convert a higher percentage of electrical energy into visible light, producing less heat and operating effectively for 50,000 hours or more. Wartburg property owners who shift from legacy lighting to LED can realize up to 70 % energy savings, translating into significant long-term reductions in utility bills.

Additional sustainability gains include:

  • Lower greenhouse gas emissions associated with reduced electricity demand
  • Decreased landfill waste thanks to extended lamp life and recyclable components
  • Diminished reliance on hazardous substances such as mercury found in fluorescent tubes
  • Enhanced eligibility for local incentive programs aimed at promoting green initiatives

To further bolster environmental performance, HEP offers daylight harvesting systems that dim artificial lighting when natural sunlight is abundant, plus occupancy sensors that deactivate fixtures in unoccupied rooms. Advanced lighting controls, combined with robust data analytics, provide actionable insights into consumption trends, helping property managers fine-tune settings for maximum efficiency.
