My HVAC system went down on a late Saturday night and i called HEP right away. They were calm and friendly on the phone, which allowed for us to get a tech out to my home. Justin came to my house at 7pm and did not leave until the problem was solved in every aspect of my issue at 11:30pm. I currently have a pregnant wife and he understood we needed to get air moving again. We worked late into the night to make sure we could have cool flowing air for the night. Once the job was completed for the day, he came back a second day to install new wiring within the home for the thermostat to the HVAC. He found and fixed previous issues from the prior homeowner and left my home better than how he found it. I am extremely appreciative of Justin and if you call HEP around the Knoxville area, I will request him in a heartbeat if I ever have any more issues and I think you should to. Thank you, Justin for your help and expertise.

The guys from HEP did a great job installing my Carrier HVAC unit. They took their time and made sure everything was done right. They asked me several times if I thought everything looked good throughout the install. There will be a inspection technician that will come out to do a follow-up to make sure the job was done properly, check the unit, and make sure the thermostat is working correctly. Everyone that I talked to from HEP was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using this company. Thank you for your service! Jody Technician came out the next day and checked the unit and all the work performed. All employees seem to care about the customers.

Importance of Modern Thermostats for South Pittsburg Homes

South Pittsburg, Tennessee, experiences muggy summer highs and crisp winter lows, placing heavy demand on residential HVAC equipment. A modern thermostat acts as the control hub for temperature regulation, indoor air quality, and overall energy usage. When the thermostat is outdated, even a high-efficiency furnace or air conditioner cannot perform at its best. HEP company specializes in heating and air conditioning thermostat upgrades that match the unique climate realities of South Pittsburg, giving homeowners measurable comfort and energy advantages.

Upgrading the thermostat is often the quickest route to major HVAC improvements. Whether the goal is to cut monthly utility bills, streamline daily routines, or support an eco-friendly lifestyle, a properly selected thermostat provides the technology backbone required to reach those goals. HEP technicians guide property owners through the entire upgrade journey, ensuring each device is optimized for local weather conditions, ductwork design, and existing system components.

Understanding Thermostat Technology: From Manual to Smart

Manual Thermostats

Early-generation manual thermostats rely on bimetallic strips or mercury switches. They offer:
