My HVAC system went down on a late Saturday night and i called HEP right away. They were calm and friendly on the phone, which allowed for us to get a tech out to my home. Justin came to my house at 7pm and did not leave until the problem was solved in every aspect of my issue at 11:30pm. I currently have a pregnant wife and he understood we needed to get air moving again. We worked late into the night to make sure we could have cool flowing air for the night. Once the job was completed for the day, he came back a second day to install new wiring within the home for the thermostat to the HVAC. He found and fixed previous issues from the prior homeowner and left my home better than how he found it. I am extremely appreciative of Justin and if you call HEP around the Knoxville area, I will request him in a heartbeat if I ever have any more issues and I think you should to. Thank you, Justin for your help and expertise.

Understanding Thermostat Upgrades

Modern heating and air conditioning systems are only as precise as the thermostats that govern them. For homeowners and property managers across Pikeville, a thermostat upgrade performed by HEP can translate directly into greater comfort, improved energy savings, and better control of indoor environments. Traditional mercury or slide‐dial devices cannot deliver the nuanced responses needed for today’s high-performance HVAC equipment. By contrast, upgraded smart and programmable thermostats provide granular temperature control, automated scheduling, and real-time data that help optimize every heating or cooling cycle.

Evolution of Home Thermostats

Early thermostats regulated temperature by expanding or contracting metal strips or mercury bulbs in response to ambient heat. While functional, these devices lacked precision and flexibility. Digital thermostats ushered in programmable schedules, yet they still relied on manual programming and offered limited connectivity. The latest smart thermostats incorporate Wi-Fi, learning algorithms, occupancy sensors, and advanced data analytics, allowing them to fine-tune HVAC output in ways unimaginable just a decade ago. HEP technicians leverage these innovations to give Pikeville residents a noticeable upgrade in comfort and efficiency.
