My HVAC system went down on a late Saturday night and i called HEP right away. They were calm and friendly on the phone, which allowed for us to get a tech out to my home. Justin came to my house at 7pm and did not leave until the problem was solved in every aspect of my issue at 11:30pm. I currently have a pregnant wife and he understood we needed to get air moving again. We worked late into the night to make sure we could have cool flowing air for the night. Once the job was completed for the day, he came back a second day to install new wiring within the home for the thermostat to the HVAC. He found and fixed previous issues from the prior homeowner and left my home better than how he found it. I am extremely appreciative of Justin and if you call HEP around the Knoxville area, I will request him in a heartbeat if I ever have any more issues and I think you should to. Thank you, Justin for your help and expertise.

The guys from HEP did a great job installing my Carrier HVAC unit. They took their time and made sure everything was done right. They asked me several times if I thought everything looked good throughout the install. There will be a inspection technician that will come out to do a follow-up to make sure the job was done properly, check the unit, and make sure the thermostat is working correctly. Everyone that I talked to from HEP was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using this company. Thank you for your service! Jody Technician came out the next day and checked the unit and all the work performed. All employees seem to care about the customers.

Modernizing Comfort in Halls with Thermostat Upgrades by HEP Company

Halls residents experience the full spectrum of East Tennessee weather—from humid summers that hover in the nineties to frosty winter mornings that dip below freezing. A high‐performing heating and air conditioning system is essential, but the system’s heart is the thermostat. HEP Company specializes in comprehensive thermostat upgrades that transform outdated controls into smart, energy-saving hubs. By merging technical expertise with a deep understanding of local climate patterns, HEP technicians deliver solutions that optimize comfort, efficiency, and long-term HVAC health for every household in Halls.

The Role of a Thermostat in Home Comfort

A thermostat is more than a wall-mounted temperature dial. It serves as the command center for the entire HVAC system, determining when equipment cycles on or off, how long it operates, and which comfort modes activate. In practical terms, a well-calibrated thermostat:
