My HVAC system went down on a late Saturday night and i called HEP right away. They were calm and friendly on the phone, which allowed for us to get a tech out to my home. Justin came to my house at 7pm and did not leave until the problem was solved in every aspect of my issue at 11:30pm. I currently have a pregnant wife and he understood we needed to get air moving again. We worked late into the night to make sure we could have cool flowing air for the night. Once the job was completed for the day, he came back a second day to install new wiring within the home for the thermostat to the HVAC. He found and fixed previous issues from the prior homeowner and left my home better than how he found it. I am extremely appreciative of Justin and if you call HEP around the Knoxville area, I will request him in a heartbeat if I ever have any more issues and I think you should to. Thank you, Justin for your help and expertise.

Key Benefits of Choosing a Professional Thermostat Upgrade

Enhanced Comfort through Accurate Temperature Calibration

Professional installation guarantees that sensors are placed correctly and calibration settings match the home’s thermal profile. Residents enjoy consistent temperatures in every room, eliminating hot and cold spots commonly caused by inaccurate readings.

Reduced Energy Consumption and Lower Carbon Footprint

A thermostat is the gatekeeper of HVAC runtime. When it is fine-tuned through advanced programming and adaptive algorithms, the system cycles only when necessary. This optimized operation translates to:

  • Decreased electricity and gas usage
  • Lower strain on local energy grids during peak seasons
  • Reduced greenhouse gas emissions associated with heating and cooling

Protection for HVAC Equipment

Frequent short cycling or excessive run times accelerate wear on compressors, burners, and blower motors. By aligning temperature differentials and cycle lengths correctly, an upgraded thermostat extends the lifespan of costly equipment and decreases maintenance frequency.

Features to Consider When Selecting a New Thermostat

Zoning Capabilities for Larger Homes

Multi-story residences or properties with sprawling layouts often struggle with uneven temperatures. Zoning thermostats operate dampers within ductwork, allowing bespoke temperature setpoints in different areas. HEP technicians evaluate duct design and damper placement to ensure smooth integration.
