FAQs

Why should I consider upgrading my plumbing pipes?

Upgrading your plumbing pipes can improve water flow, increase efficiency, and prevent leaks or other damage caused by aging pipes. It can also increase the overall value of your property and ensure compliance with current building codes.

What types of pipes are commonly used in modern plumbing upgrades?

The most commonly used pipes in modern plumbing upgrades are PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and copper pipes. Each material has its own benefits: PEX is flexible and easy to install, PVC is cost-effective and resistant to corrosion, and copper is durable and has a long lifespan.

How long does a plumbing pipe upgrade typically take?

The duration of a plumbing pipe upgrade can vary depending on the size of the property, the complexity of the existing pipe system, and the materials being used. On average, a typical residential project can take from a few days to over a week.

Will upgrading my plumbing pipes cause any disruptions to my daily life?

Upgrading your plumbing pipes will likely cause some disruptions, as it may require turning off the water supply for certain periods and accessing walls or floors. However, professional plumbers strive to minimize inconvenience and complete the work as efficiently as possible.

How do I know if my home needs a pipe upgrade?

Signs that your home may need a pipe upgrade include frequent leaks, reduced water pressure, discolored water, and aging pipes that are prone to corrosion or damage. A professional plumber can assess your system and recommend upgrades if necessary.

What is the cost range for a plumbing pipe upgrade?

The cost of a plumbing pipe upgrade can vary widely based on factors such as the size of the property, the extent of the work needed, and the materials used. On average, homeowners might expect to pay anywhere from $2,000 to $15,000 for a full pipe upgrade. It's best to get a detailed quote from a professional plumber for an accurate estimate.

Brett Nicely was an absolute professional. He came out in a timely manner and helped us repair an outdoor pipe that the previous repair company had left exposed and was damaged, he also helped us get our outdoor faucet repaired as the last company had messed up the plumbing and installation. We had new piping installed throughout our house. We noticed a small leak, dripping water, the next day. I called that morning and it was fixed immediately. Corey and Tyler came out and took care of it in minutes. They were very professional to me and kind to our small children running around. 10/10 I recommend HEP and if you get Corey and Tyler then that’s just an added bonus.
