FAQs

Why should I consider upgrading my pipes?

Upgrading your pipes can prevent numerous plumbing issues such as leaks, low water pressure, and safety hazards stemming from outdated materials like lead or galvanized steel. It also improves water quality and efficiency, potentially saving you money on repairs and water bills in the long run.

What materials are available for pipe upgrades?

Common materials for pipe upgrades include PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and copper. Each has its own advantages: PEX is flexible and resistant to scale and chlorine, PVC is cost-effective and easy to install, and copper is durable and has a long lifespan.

How long does a typical pipe upgrade take?

The duration of a pipe upgrade depends on the size and complexity of your plumbing system. A straightforward project can take a few days, while more extensive upgrades can take a week or more. A professional plumber can provide a more accurate time frame after an evaluation.

Will I need to vacate my home during a pipe upgrade?

In most cases, you will not need to vacate your home during a pipe upgrade. However, water service may be disrupted temporarily during the installation. Our team will work with you to minimize inconvenience and ensure that the process is as smooth as possible.

How much does it cost to upgrade plumbing pipes?

The cost of upgrading your pipes depends on several factors including the type of materials used, the extent of the upgrade, and labor costs. On average, homeowners can expect to pay between $1,500 and $15,000 for a whole-house pipe replacement. A detailed quote can be provided after an assessment by our team.

Do pipe upgrades come with a warranty?

Yes, most pipe upgrades come with a warranty that covers both labor and materials. The specifics of the warranty can vary depending on the materials used and the contractor. Typically, warranties range from 1 to 25 years, offering peace of mind regarding the durability and reliability of your new plumbing system.

Exceptional service from the initial phone call to the completion of the job! I had a massive leak in my bathroom where a mouse or rat had chewed through a water line under the floor in an attempt to get into the house. Water was shooting up like a fountain. Kyler came out, did t comain about the mess in my home, and fixed my issue in less than 30 minutes, including cleanup. We couldn't believe it. He had even checked to be sure everything was working again. He then stayed on to answer other questions I had about other home repairs and upgrades, an even got quotes for me! He was never rushed, rude, or anything but professional, pleasant, polite, and very efficient. Absolutely first-class professional, worry-free service! Worth every penny!

Called at almost 5:00 p.m. on a Friday with a burst pipe behind the shower, taking out the water to almost the whole house. On a *Friday*, for heaven's sake. Johnny H arrived around 7:30, was pleasant and quick in diagnosing the exact location of the break and what it would take to fix it. He was finished in very little time, considering how hard it was to get back in there, and then he really went over and above to make absolutely sure there were no leaks from his work or as a result of the stress that the nearby pipes may have suffered from the break. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back in my house. He didn't even let my cats get into the basement! Highly recommend!
