I know that every business has employees but, I want to extend well deserved "Thank You" to Richard W. My home had no heat and, half of my home power was out due to my unit burning a hole in the connections. Richard showed up within an hour once he read my home had no heat. I could have shopped around for quotes but, Richard W answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable, especially when explaining in detail the pricing breakdown. "Thank You" Richard W again, you are the reason I completed this transaction and, I appreciate all the added care you provided to me today in my time of need.

Our heating and air unit went out in the fall. We had a few different companies look at it. They were SO overpriced. We decided to call today and see what our options were. To say amazing is an understatement!! Eric Welch was here same day! He was professional, kind, and friendly. He was able to work it out to where we will have a new unit installed Friday! He said they could do it tomorrow, but because of the upcoming storm's, I asked He wait unti the next day. I didn't realize how any services they offered. We will be life long customer's. Next project will be whole home electrical, and without a doubt we will be using them. Best company around!

Rarely do we call for service when our day is going well. Suffering both a water leak and electrical issue, HEP was there for me. Julia returned my service request quickly and politely worked me into the schedule as quickly as possible. Adam called before he arrived so I had time to put the dogs away as so often “too many paws slow the progress”. Adam listened to my attempts to describe the issue, then began investigating the complex wiring left by the previous owners. To both of our astonishment, he found a previous electrical box *behind the book shelf*!? Apparently, during a previous renovation, many circuits were bridged from the original to the new panel installed in the garage. Undaunted, Adam quickly found the faulty bridge, ran a new modern connection and new breaker and Ta-da, fixed!! Very, very pleased with the level of service, professionalism and fair cost to have this mystery resolved. Will gladly call on HEP again.

Josh Butler just left our home. That dude is excellent! Our home is an older home. He explained what he was doing and cleaned up issues with our wiring as he worked. The living room was left clean and tidy and he was friendly. I learned about the loyalty program and with work on our AC units I will probably join. I had a quote as well on the AC units getting installed in our home, Nathan Fisher was very professional and took measurements of my home and explained how much it costs and why. I am very pleased with both of these guys. I am pleased to say We are a Hep family and I will call again.

Comprehensive Wiring Overhauls by McMinnville Electricians

Knob-and-tube remnants, cloth-wrapped conductors, and undersized fuses plague many charming homes built before the 1970s. When capacity, safety, or resale value become concerns, whole-home rewires performed by experienced McMinnville electricians offer a clean slate. The process begins with a detailed load calculation that factors in every appliance, HVAC unit, and future amenity. Once a scope is approved, HEP’s crews set protective floor coverings, carefully remove outdated cable, and pull new copper conductors that meet the current National Electrical Code.

Key stages in a rewire include:

  • Strategic placement of new receptacles to eliminate daisy-chained extension cords
  • Dedicated circuits for refrigerators, microwaves, and sump pumps
  • AFCI breakers in living areas and GFCI protection for kitchens, baths, and outdoor outlets
  • Tamper-resistant outlets to reduce shock hazards for young children

With walls open, additional upgrades—Ethernet, HDMI runs, speaker wires—can be added at minimal incremental cost. Once drywall is restored and fresh paint is applied, the only visible change is improved convenience and peace of mind.

Specialized Techniques for Historic Residences

Historic districts often impose limits on alterations to visible exteriors. HEP’s electricians use:

  • Flexible fish tape that snakes through existing cavities, preserving original plaster
  • Shallow old-work boxes that fit within narrow studs
  • Color-matched screwless plates that blend seamlessly with antique trim

These subtle approaches maintain architectural integrity while delivering 21st-century reliability.

Adapting Older Properties: Electrician McMinnville TN Advice

Vintage charm often hides dated service entrances. An electrician McMinnville TN homeowners trust inspects grounding electrodes, meter bases, and weatherheads to confirm adequate fault paths. Upgrading from a 100-amp fuse block to a 200-amp breaker panel unlocks headroom for:
