Jordan, Brayden, and Kaleb just wrapped up the job at my place and I could not be more pleased. They were professional, kind, and went above and beyond. My wife and I are building a house in Bulls Gap, and needed to hook up a pressure pump. I didn't realize what all would be needed, but they nailed it. They installed a pressure tank under the house and finished all of the piping and fittings. Because we don't have electric for our pump house, they got my generator running and made sure everything worked as it should. I won't use anybody else going forward. Thank you, guys! Y'all are awesome!

Common Generator Issues Addressed by HEP Technicians

Generators include mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems, any of which may introduce failure points.

Fuel Contamination

Water ingress, microbial growth, and sediment accumulation can block filters and injectors. HEP’s fuel polishing rigs restore diesel quality without emptying tanks, removing particulates down to two microns.

Battery Failure

A depleted or sulphated starting battery prevents the engine from cranking. HEP inspects electrolyte levels, performs load tests, and supplies maintenance-free replacements rated for deep-cycle resilience.

Cooling System Leaks

Faulty hoses or corroded radiators raise engine temperatures, risking head gasket damage. Pressure testing and infrared thermography pinpoint leaks and hotspots before irreversible harm occurs.

Control Panel Faults

Obsolete or damaged circuit boards can misreport parameters or lock generators in fault states. HEP offers component-level repair and firmware upgrades, restoring reliable automation.

Exhaust Blockages

Soot accumulation in particulate filters reduces engine breathing and spikes backpressure. HEP undertakes DPF cleaning and exhaust temperature monitoring to maintain emission targets.

Environmental Considerations and Compliance

Guild’s emphasis on sustainability underscores the necessity for generators to meet stringent environmental criteria. HEP navigates evolving regulations covering:

  • Nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) output
  • Noise emission boundaries, particularly near residential zones
  • Spillage containment for fuel storage areas

Through customised acoustic enclosures, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, and compliant bunded tanks, HEP enables clients to minimise environmental footprints without compromising power security.
