Jordan, Brayden, and Kaleb just wrapped up the job at my place and I could not be more pleased. They were professional, kind, and went above and beyond. My wife and I are building a house in Bulls Gap, and needed to hook up a pressure pump. I didn't realize what all would be needed, but they nailed it. They installed a pressure tank under the house and finished all of the piping and fittings. Because we don't have electric for our pump house, they got my generator running and made sure everything worked as it should. I won't use anybody else going forward. Thank you, guys! HEP came promptly when we had loss of power due to storm damage. In fact, this is the 3rd time this has happened due to falling trees. HEP has been our go to electrical contractor each time because of their dependability, fairness, and quality of work. Zack did a great job. Very courteous. Hope to use him again soon for some other work.

Our eleven-year-old heating and air conditioning system failed early in the Summer. We called HEP and after some discussion with their advisors we decided to invest in a state-of-the-art HVAC system manufactured by Trane and sold through HEP. It was installed quickly and efficiently and without delay by HEP service men. Part of the attraction was the Warranty offered by HEP which included a three-year-maintenance-and inspection-agreement on all household plumbing and electrical equipment, as well as a full ten-year-parts-and-labor Warranty on the HVAC system itself. Subsequently, we required service on our hot-tub and HEP's response ( from serviceman Richie) was quick, professional, and reasonable. We found him to be courteous and helpful. The problem turned out to be minor and we were only charged accordingly and fairly. We intend to continue to be HEP customers for all of our plumbing, electrical, and HVAC needs for the foreseeable future.

  • Block heater functionality checks to guarantee winter starts
  • Alternator and AVR tests for voltage stability during summer peak loads
  • Air intake and ventilation review to prevent overheating

Load Bank Testing and Performance Certification

Running a generator without sufficient electrical demand can cause wet stacking and carbon buildup. HEP deploys resistive and reactive load banks to simulate real-world demand, verifying that the generator:

  • Produces rated kW and kVA output
  • Maintains frequency and voltage within tight tolerances
  • Handles step-load changes without stalling
  • Regulates temperature under sustained load

Certified test reports document compliance for insurance, healthcare, and municipal requirements.

Diagnostic Troubleshooting and Repair

When a generator fails to start or displays alarm conditions, downtime risk escalates quickly. HEP’s diagnostic workflow combines advanced tools with hands-on expertise:

  1. Retrieve fault codes from the control panel or ECU.
  2. Perform visual inspection for burnt wiring, leaks, or loose connections.
  3. Use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and infrared cameras to pinpoint faults.
  4. Repair or replace malfunctioning components—starters, alternators, injectors, fuel pumps, sensors, or control modules.
  5. Conduct post-repair functional testing and record results.

The goal is swift restoration of full operational integrity without repeat faults.

Fuel System Management

Contaminated or aging fuel can cripple an otherwise healthy generator. HEP provides:

  • Fuel polishing to remove water, sediment, and microbial growth
  • Tank cleaning and sludge removal
  • Additive programs that stabilize fuel during long storage periods
  • Quarterly fuel sampling with ASTM-certified lab analysis

Proper fuel stewardship ensures smooth combustion, fewer emissions, and faster engine response.

Remote Monitoring and Predictive Analytics

Modern generators include telematics modules that transmit real-time data over cellular or Ethernet connections. HEP’s monitoring platform tracks:
